ABOUT LISA J GREEN

Strategist, author, and creator of the REACT™ methodology for organisational resilience.

For twenty-five years, I’ve been building things designed to last.

What I do

Across energy, green technology and education, the throughline of my work has been the same: take something complex, and often something the rest of the market is getting confused by, and build it so it scales and endures, rather than burns bright and breaks.

I’m a serial entrepreneur and strategist, and I’ve spent my career at the point where bold ideas meet the hard discipline of making them real.

What I’ve built

  • I founded the UK’s first Degree Apprenticeships in Technology and Engineering, opening a route into high-skilled careers for people who’d never have taken the traditional one.
  • I helped build an energy storage business that floated at a £220m valuation on the Euronext Dublin stock exchange.
  • I’ve worked at the frontier of the energy transition, including helping to establish the Green Hydrogen Hub, Denmark, one of Europe’s most ambitious integrated clean-energy projects.
  • Today, I’m Director and Strategic Investment Lead of 11Minds Energy, an energy intelligence platform, where I lead on strategy and investment.

What I believe

My work centres around a conviction that runs against the grain of most energy thinking: the hardware was never the hard part. The difficulty is the intelligence we build on top of it, and most organisations will get that wrong unless they build it with resiliency.

REACT

REACT is the operating methodology I developed for scaling under complexity. Five disciplines: Revenue Alignment, Exponential Modularity, Adaptive Intelligence Loops, Community-First Intelligence, and Transformative Delivery. REACT is how organisations build systems that don’t just scale in good times, but adapt and endure through the complex ones.

What shapes my thinking

My thinking is shaped by people who take complexity seriously — from Nassim Taleb on Antifragile, to Prof. Bent Flyvbjerg on how big things get done, whilst studying with Prof. David Rogers on Digital Transformation at Columbia Business School, NYC.

Resilience to me isn’t the absence of failure. It’s the ability of a system to adapt without losing direction.

What I’m working on now

I’m writing The Resilience Blueprint Playbook (out October 2026), which turns REACT from a framework into a method anyone can apply.

I write regularly about the energy transition, resilience, and building under uncertainty. I’m always happy to hear from people working towards the same frontier.

If that’s you, let’s talk.
